This is just another way to tax the poor, and have the police department benefit from it. Your just making life that much more dificult on people that can't afford to meet their daily living expenses. Not only will a larger number of these people be unable to get their cars out of the impound they will be forced to find other ways to get to work. So now what do they do when they can't work or drive. The police need to get real not greedy. Isn't the fines, court cost, towing and vehicle storage fees pain enough for someone that is down on their luck already? I suspect the numbers of cars left in the impound will grow and who will win by that? Of course the towing garage will since they will sell the cars off for parts or what ever way they can. Geeze just another way for the "Haves" to screw over the Have Nots"
