I am as liberal as one can be. Fire-bombing Dresden, nuking Hiroshima, napalming Vietnam, dropping depleted uranium shells in Iraq, and the bombing of villages in Afghanistan and Pakistan are all abhorrent to me. So is abortion. So is capital punishment. So is torture. No excuses. No justifications. Ever.
