Last year was the 20th Hempfest, not this year. 2011 is the 21st annual Hempfest. The first Hempfest was 20 years ago, in 1991. 1st + 20 = 21st.

This is interesting.

The article says the cops spotted the plants from the air, so that means he was growing it outside. How long do you suppose the cannabis growing season is on the Kitsap Peninsula? Could he get more than one harvest per year? I doubt it.

So if the state figures that a 60 day supply is two ounces, what is he supposed to do a few months after his annual harvest? The law seems to assume that the growing is done indoors, and with a one ounce per month limit, the harvest has to be pretty potent.

If he gets one harvest per year in wet and cloudy Bremerton, that tells me that given the average year has 365.25 days, he has to be able to store over 1/3 kilo of pot til his next harvest a year later.
