I think you are right. While I do have my issues with the way the citizens of the US are allowed to protest and file grievences with the government, at least they are not shot doing so. It is true that there is more violence in the other countries from protests.

I agree. I don't understand the big deal about talking about the holocaust. It should be regulated to history books like all over travesties. Historical scholars change history all the time. This isn't WWII, it is 2011. It's time to reflect on the individual and his accomplishments rather than some random historical event.

People on the scene, bloggers, friends and family. Most people would rather listen to someone reading a script to them on TV that dresses nice, wears make-up and has had teeth whitening, than communicating with the people in their neighborhood.

I know a few from college and a few from online. I also read many sides of the issue from websites in Iran. If you're looking for a numerical fight, fine, you can win. You know more than me. I'll restate that my argument isn't what his own people think of him, it's the motivation behind many Americans (if you all are) disgust and hate toward him. It doesn't bode well for our future.

That is good information you have and I can concur that many people dislike (even hate) their leaders. That is evident with many of those here who hate Obama for whatever reason. Our civil rights are slowly dissappearing as well. Bush started it with the Patriot Act, but the war on the citizen has been going on for many years. My whole anti-argument wasn't that the Iranian president was a noble and loving man, it was aimed at the posters here who want nothing more than his head on a platter for nothing. People can't live their lives with those thoughts. It's not healthy and it will only hurt our chlidren. The fact is, the Iranian leader might not be the swellest guy in the world, but they (He) has never hurt nor harmed us. Why do my citizens act the way they are then? People hit and spit on Jesus because they were lied to about him, so I do think brining Jesus (Christianity) into this is applicable. With Him, nothing is possible.

I agree. They fail to understand their errors. They are like wild beasts that have forgotten their true identity and heritage. It wasn't until the past few years watching and monitoring others actions and behavior that I understood how so many Germans blindly followed their "system". Our people are very sick and under mind control. They won't wake up as they think they never dream.
