As far as being held against his will very doubtful! And being hurt we couldn't get that lucky. One of his idiot friends are hiding him out . Or he's at his dads in Anamosa.

I agree with crperson that Mally is a piece of crap. They probably gave him an extra privilege
to go look for a job( which is not work release) because he is a rat .
