SEIU knew this was coming. You can only tax the workers of NY just so much. The money has been spent. Of all the billions being spent on social programs and all these other unnecessary programs in NY, people should be able to see why this is happening. I do think we owe something to our elders and morally we should take care of them but where do you get the money when everybody else is screaming for govt money? I say take it from the other social programs like welfare, and others.
She is afraid of the citizens asking just that. She is buying the votes of those that have become dependent on govt money as well as trying to get more people dependent on the govt for their lives. HEAP and several other programs are a sad testament to what is happening to our country. I wonder if they had any of this in the 50s? How did people survive back then? Everyone should be dead.

Yes the Southern Tier and Western New York are beautiful. I tell all my friends that it is the govt that makes it ugly. Never a day goes by that I don't look around me and appreciate what God has provided. Spend some time in the desert in another part of the world and you will understand. We should send our politicians there.

Another reason to disband the teachers union as well as SEIU. The education system is also top heavy as well as administrative heavy. Unfortunately it makes all teachers look like they only care about the money, not the kids. Keep going liberal gov. As much as I don't like the leftist socialist agenda, it is refreshing to see one practice some fiscal conservatism.
If you live up here in the North then you had better pay better attention when you are operating a heavy piece of equipment at a high rate of speed. Yes, even 30MPH is a high rate of speed when you hit bad road conditions. Too many people, young and old get into a vehicle and drive without thinking. It is no different for them than playing a video game. You can only teach so much before you have to let a person out on their own. Think before you get behind the wheel and realize what you are doing and for God' s sake put away the cell phone.

Wow! Don't these people know how stupid they look to the rest of us? Eight years and how much money to get this far? It will be 2100 before they get the job done.
