I think Abu Jahl and all those resistance heroes vilified in Arabo-Muslim historiography, should be glorified as Martyrs of the Muqawwama against terror fi sabil al-mal..

They sshould be resurrected and given their due for their intelligence.

I don;t think this would do the trick. What you're up against is 1400 years of incitment. Look what just 10 years of hateful propaganda did to the Germans.
Although I agree with you that some mindsets in the West must be changed.

The East Jerusalem consulates serve almost exclusively the West Bank and the Gaza strip. The British and French consulate personnel are particularly vicious. The British Consulate has paid more than 200 000 dollars to a group called Breaking the Silence to get the dirt on Tsahal in Operation Cast Lead.
They are also at the origin of the recent call to "stop construction in East Jerusalem" made by the Americans.
British diplomatic personnel regularly engage in provocations and verbal abuse of the Israeli border police manning the crossings to and fro the West bank. One might say they are engaged in a war of their own.
