It is a beautiful site, but if we continue to build single family homes on unspoiled or agricultural land, we won't have any place left for food production and wildlife habitat. Having to drive long distances for everything is another energy and pollution concern.

This site selection is completely inappropriate for a "green" building. There is no existing infrastructure, no public transportation, as well as being undisturbed greenfield ground. It may sell products but does nothing to save the environment.
