anyone watching Mark Levin on Hannity? He's talking about the vetting of true conservatives and getting rid of rinos. That's exactly what Club for Growth is doing.
It takes time to begin a third party , vette the candidates and get the financing.
I do want to encourage everyone to check out Club for Growth. They (through their PAC arm) are now vetting conservatives to run for 2010. Club for Growth is populated with Libertarians. I know this from a lunch meeting with one of the board. Perhaps they can help us.
the only thing I worry about is not taking the Congress in 2010. It absolutely cannot stay in liberal control. I do not see how a third party AT THIS TIME can effectively bring that party down. I say we infiltrate and take over the weaker party, the Republicans, and supplant the rinos with conservative Constitutionalists who will go to the mat for the country and the Constitution. They cannot be democrat because that keeps the majority in place. So that has to be Republican because the split into a 3rd party will keep the democrrats in power. After 2010? We'll see.....
I did a report on this diabolical bill last week to a group of folks and the outrage is palpable. We have been sending emails to our reps and senators.......2 of whom in my area are very vulnerable in 2010. We are letting them know that if they vote for this, they need to find new work in 2010 because we will throw them out of office. I wonder if we shouldn't also let these bozos know that if they impose this upon us we will consider ways to impeach them. No one in the gov't is above the law. There are ways to remove them and you know, we may just have to figure that one out.
At the rate of destruction of our nation and the Constitution, is anyone available to sue this administration for the things he is doing? is there no legal recourse to stopping this mess?
We've been being gps'd here in Indiana too......most of the folks doing it are just hirelings....have no idea what and/or why.....when confronted they just complain that nothing they've been told to do is working quite right and when questioned about what in the world they have to have this info for they have no clue. So most of us who are at home when they come around are "politely" escorting them off our properties. They can just gps from the road!
Glenn - you may want to dialogue with Obama and try to get him to pay attention, but know this: this is chaos that Obama WANTS and is ENGINEERING TO KEEP HIM IN POWER. HE IS A NARCISSIST AND HATES THIS NATION AND WANTS ONLY HIS OWN POWER. STOP TRYING TO MAKE SENSE OF HIM. HE IS VILE. THE ONLY WAY WE ARE GOING TO STOP THIS MADNESS IS IN 2010 AND WE RETAKE THE HOUSE, 1/3 OF THE SENATE AND CUT HIS FINANCES OFF AND THUS HIS POLITICAL KNEES OUT FROM UNDER HIM........IT'S ALL ABOUT HIS POWER AND OUR MONEY.
I share the frustration I read here.....and the angst we all have for our nation. I believe we are on the right track by continuing our meetup here and locally. The tea parties are having an effect. I also believe we all need to read our study books so that we really know what are our rights......and to keep mailing and calling our representatives in Congress. We are seeing some voting changes now in our people because they are up for reelection next year....it just further undergirds the need that I see for term limits. When they know they are going to lose their seats, they become amazingly responsive don't they........so keep up the pressure, and stay in touch! WE are the people,........and we really do have the power.
some thoughts on being pro-life: We believe that the human activity creates a life. I taught LaMaze. I'm here to say that new life in a human is 1) God created. If you don't believe that you need to check out the numbers. IT's amazing. 2) I really don't know any human being capable of being God. Do you? And since He creates ALL life.......sorry. Humans need to respect it. some thoughts on divisiveness: What kind of a party is it that succeeds only when it divides us? Hmmm???? what kind of party is it that presents anti-Americans into positions of power? of tax frauds and tax cheats to be the "guardians" of the taxpayers? Hmmm???
So instead of looking to divide this nation at this time and pit us one against the other, if you cannot stand united with other Americans - on this site, particularly - to save our nation from a government running amok and destroying the principles this country was founded upon..........I for one ask you to leave and go find a group you are in agreement with. AND NEVER TRY TO TELL US WE HAVE TO AGREE WITH YOU BECAUSE WE DO NOT!!!
