<title>The New Civil Rights Movement : Lt. Dan Choi, LGBT Hero, Called Back To Military Service</title>

<description>This is good news, indeed. We need good men like Lt. Dan Choi especially now. I hope you are correct that this is only the first step and that soon the total repeal of DADT will be a reality. <title>The New Civil Rights Movement : Can You Even Be A Democrat If You Don&#039;t Support Repeal Of DOMA?</title>

<description>I agree-it&amp;#039;s overdue for all dems and fair thinking republicans to get behind this bill. If not now, when? Susan Berland &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.susan-berland.com&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;www.susan-berland.com&lt;/a&gt; </description>

<description>What a beautiful and amazing story. One person&amp;#039;s generosity of spirit can change another&amp;#039;s life. I&amp;#039;d love to hear where Kate is a year from now and 5 years from now and how she does pay it forward. Thank you for giving voice to her story. <title>The New Civil Rights Movement : Why I Won&#039;t Be At The National Equality March</title>
<link>http://thenewcivilrightsmovement.com/why-i-wont-be-at-the-national-equality-march/news/2009/10/11/4838#IDComment38313444</link>
<description>David, I&amp;#039;m so sorry for your loss. You missed a great march, but were blessed to have such a loving, sweet relationship with your aunt and to know that the last words she heard from you were &amp;quot;I love you.&amp;quot; Thank you for taking time to remind us all why we fight for equality during you time of grief. <title>The New Civil Rights Movement : BREAKING: Texas Judge: Ban On Gay Marriage Unconstitutional</title>

<description>Is it even conceivable that Texas will be one of the states to allow same sex marriage? Will I live to see that happen? That will be amazing. I know the tide is turning, but I never thought I&amp;#039;d see it turn this far! <description>Great news. Maybe we&amp;#039;ll have something to celebrate while we&amp;#039;re marching for our civil rights next weekend! Hey, Obama, are you listening? <title>The New Civil Rights Movement : Recipe for Disaster?</title>
<link>http://thenewcivilrightsmovement.com/recipe-for-disaster/marriage/2009/07/28/4301#IDComment29024154</link>
<description>Thanks for an excellent report on what happened in San Bernadino. I&amp;#039;ve been leaning toward 2010 and after hearing some of the polling results am worried we can&amp;#039;t win until 2012. Whichever way it goes, I&amp;#039;ll be fighting to repeal Prop 8. We have a lot in common. I&amp;#039;m a straight Jewish woman, fighting for marriage equality for my children and for all people in California and in the United States. I won&amp;#039;t rest until full equality is a reality. <title>The New Civil Rights Movement : Oprah Winfrey Talks About Anti-Gay Bullying And Suicides</title>
<link>http://thenewcivilrightsmovement.com/oprah-winfrey-talks-about-anti-gay-bullying-and-suicides/legislation/2009/05/08/2543#IDComment21111890</link>
<description>Even with GSAs in schools, the administration and teachers need to be educated and perhaps forced to stop this type of bullying. They would never allow a student to call another student the n word, but somehow calling another student a fag or a lesbian or the like is totally acceptable to them and just seen as juvenile behavior. How many more suicides will it take for them to wake up? One more is too many.
