Me too - garden, tons of canned stuff - independent water source - Wood burning heat source - lots of candles and a weapon or two when the townies come to the country to find food.

I saw in some bill they want to regulate even your home gardens (to keep food safe) only hybrid seeds and you have to fill out paperwork if you give or sell the produce. What next?

Some times I hate talking about this because it makes me sound like a nut-case but I don't trust this government any more.

I was just thinking that since the media and Dems are now calling Tea Parties unruly mobs - perhaps we need to make sure the Mall in DC is not left trashed like after the inauguration. A startling contrast.

I couldn't open the replies so sorry if I duplicate...

My father made some predictions on election night 1964.

He predicted the public education system would be taken over by radical thinkers and what kind of citizens it would produce.

And he said a lot more and was mostly right.

But how did the Republican Party stray so far left since then? Why did they let this happen?

Keeping up with the times like Meghan McCain is trying to do? Trying to be cool? Bleechhhh

I mean really.

Conservatism is what it is - these politicians need to go - they have let us down ever so slowly year after year.

But the liberals were patient - 40 or so years and they have produce a near entire generation of .....I can't even think of a word....dependent? entitled?

Lets continue standing up!

I have been wondering the same thing myself - what's all the planning with the military and having quarantine zones - do they know something we don't?

Great post! I have been thinking that the borg would have thier way.

The O machine was well organized - communication is the key.

I'd even be willing to travel to other states to support other rallies - could be great fun!
