When I had to put down my cat, it was the hardest decision I had ever made and I was a wreck but I stayed with him to the end and let him go with as much love as he had given me in the 9 years we were together. I was forced into a situation and had to live in my car for 3 months and it was the most horrid and scariest time of my life. I was attacked while walking to a bathroom in a park. I stayed in a wal-mart parking lot and and cried myself to sleep a lot of nights. No one cares anymore if you are homeless, people look at you like you are so much less than. It really hurts to be treated that way. I have a roof over my head now and every day I am so thankful for it. Try it sometime, get in your car with only the clothes on your back and drive to a parking lot and live there for 3 days and see what its really like and maybe you would learn a lesson or two. A lot (notice I didn't say all) of Americans think they are entitled to get everything right now. I've seen it over and over again. From the express lanes at the grocery store to the honking horn behind me the second after the light turns green. People seem to have forgotten how to be patient or kind to others in their busy and demanding way of life. I never mind waiting because it always gives me a chance to smile at someone and say hello. You never know what difference that can make in someones life.
