Exactly right. I can't stand either one.

re: Thin Ice...seems vaguely familiar to some of the plot elements in an Elmore Leonard story.

Speaking of why people aren't going to the movies anymore, I'd rather save my $15 movie ticket for this flick, and watch back to back episodes of Justified... that Raylan sure does find interesting ways to shoot perps.

Doesn't speak too well for their argument if they feel compelled to use footage of a man who's had a few too many.

I want to say that we should be thankful that Paul Greengrass isn't directing this film, as he seemed to be the principle agent behind the leftist quirks of the second and third Bourne films (as well as The Green Zone, which is like The Bourne Epilogue). But, the new director, Gilroy, is the one who wrote the screenplays for the prior three Bourne films, as well as Michael Clayton and State of Play. Clayton had an anti-corporation message, and State of Play was a poorly done journalist "thriller".

In conclusion, you won't have the shaky cam (probably), but I'd bet there's still going to be some barely concealed leftist message in there; because they just can't help themselves.

Well, as much as the press is already handing the nomination to Romney, the "fat lady" (that's me, LOL) hasn't sung yet. As far as I know Newt and Santorum are still "in it" with a lot of states to go, plus the convention. I have the same sinking feeling you have regarding the "choice" conservatives have with Romney (Obama or Obama with an "R"); but as long as he isn't the nominee yet, I'm still clinging onto hope. Barely clinging, true; but still clinging.

Looks more like Real Housewives of Southern Stereotype.

Makes" Justified" look like the most authentic show about Southerners on TV.

Exactly right. The show tried too hard to be "24" AND "Army Wives" AND daddy issue show AND The West Wing political show. It couldn't do any of them right. Pick one and go with it.

If we're led to believe Brody is a Benedict Arnold, then why do we care -- why are we emotionally invested -- in his trials at home with his wife?? I want the jerk dead. And it's creepy when a Marine turned Al Qaeda sleeper is hooking up in the backseat of a car with Claire Danes. The writers on this show aren't seeing straight.

I have always been extremely indifferent to Woody Allen. I don't get why people like him. I never thought he was funny enough to justify all the love he gets. But, it's one of those things, people just say, 'oh yeah, Wood Allen is sooo freaking brilliant.' Really? Why? He dresses up his jokes with references to something academics would appreciate, but that doesn't make him hysterical or brilliant.
