On my 3GS reset worked fine from AT&T web site, but on 4, when reset message was sent to iphone, the response was "Voicemail Unavailable Unable to connect" and the Voicemail is not activated but stuck at that point with pending messages, resulting in any attempt to get to Phone App directly results in that message. I can call from contacts, just not dialing phone. AT&T could not reset it and said to restore IOS from iTunes.
