Is it a safety issue or are there just to many crabby old people in the bleachers that don't like the site of "kids playing". At a school event no less. When I was in school if the younger kids got out of hand there were always faculty around to handle the situation, plus at least 1 security guard. Where are these people now? Not getting paid for their time, that's where! So even if they do attend the games who can blame them for letting things get the way they are. Maybe another way to look at it is that is there nothing for kids of this age to be doing on friday nights? It would be a horrible idea to take these "hordes" of kids and give them something constructive to do! Ever driven around the Veneta/Elmira area in the early evening? These kids have nothing to do but roam around! they are kids, what do you think they are gonna do? (hint: cause trouble) You can hardly even blame them.
