It is a shame. I just watched Van Jones talking with Don Lemon (from last night). 1) I couldn't previously imagine Van Jones in tears. 2) I had zero understanding of the extent of Prince's community outreach - he and Tipper had a lot in common, in that respect. Jones said that as a Jehovah's Witness he would not discuss his "charitable works" but that they were extensive.

I can't link from my phone - damn it, Android - but did anyone catch Maddow last night? Her first TWENTY MINUTES, which is a lot of Rachel Maddow real estate - were about Prince. There was a little political context (Tpper Gore versus Darling Nikki) but mostly it was fangirling, and adorable. ... I'll post a link later when on an actual computer, but anyone who wants to see it can go to the MaddowBlog and find the video.

Exactly! Nubians! Ours were registered Nubians and I too was in 4H - somewhere there are prize ribbons (my sister and I were pretty much the only people showing goats in our county, so we always won something).
