/Film : This Week in DVD: The Wrestler, Frost/Nixon, Notorious, Caprica

Enough......Lets just look at it in a civil manner. Rourke did an amazing job, but it is a director like Aronofsky that was able to pull out that emotion from Rourke. No insult to Mickey, but lets face facts, his best acting was almost twenty years ago! The snub was for Aronofsky for being able to get that performance from Rourke. Watch the next two films that Rourke does! Milk was a good movie. The emotion that Sean Penn puts on the screen is palpable and amazing. I hate Sean Penn the person and the political bull that he slings out, but that man can act if given the role that allows him to do that. As for Notorious....it was ok and that is giving it more than it really deserves!

I'm piqued. Not sure how to really take this. Like Gunn and not exactly a Rainn fan, but I will follow this with some breathlessness.

I am willing to accept that in fact he has done the best out of all the marvel directors....even better than Raimi. I would be there to see it
