Safeway in Troutdale this morning was 3.99 for regular and later in the afternoon it was 3.89. No gas was delivered at the time and the station around the area has dropped their price earlier in the day. An employee will drive around the local stations to check prices and Safeway will adjust their prices. Safeway currently has the cheapest gas prices in the Portland area in SE Portland, are you telling me that the delivery is .20 a gallon to run it out to Troutdale. We are all being ripped off and most of us just don't know it. Because there isn't enough room to get up to speed to merge with freeway traffic. Freeway traffic will be humming along and the merging VW beetle is rushing up to a speedy 35 miles per hour and is now in the right lane with traffic traveling at 55 to 60 mph and everybody is hard on the breaks and this affects the cars behind for over a mile. Other cars change lanes to avoid the merging VW and slow down the next lane and the same thing happens again and again. Don't ask the driving instructor with Oregon Driver Education Center, he has to say that or he would get fired. He works for the government that set up this lame system.
