Big Hollywood : New York Times Barbie Attacks Again

For those who want to support Palin's recent moves but also can't quite understand them, the following reference to Alaska politics may help clarify (from AP liberal-eyewash posted on Yahoo News, ridiculously/inaccurately titled: "Alaska observers say Palin had gone fishin' on job"): "...[Gregg] Erickson, the Juneau political watcher, said the governor's resignation makes sense. 'Politically, I see it as a smart move. With the complete breakdown of her alliance with Democrats that marked her first two years as governor, she has no ability to move her policies forward in legislation. Indeed, her Alaska agenda, the [natural] gas pipeline in particular, is likely to fare much better with her out of the picture,' Erickson said." SOoo, Palin seems to have fallen on her sword, resigning as much to benefit her original political goals for Alaska, as to make a statement about the appallingly vicious Dowds & Lettermans!! Maybe it is a "clever move,"...just as "Weekly Standard" Bill Kristol believes it.
