Thanks for the kind words Brad. We really appreciate all the advice and support that you (along with all the other Techstars mentors) have provided us over the past couple of years. Can't wait to hear about all the other Techstars successes that are coming in the future!

Thanks David! There's no doubt in my mind that Techstars was an integral part of what made DailyBurn (or Gyminee) a success. I love seeing how Techstars continues to grow - truly amazing stuff.

Thanks for the great feedback everyone! Making large-scale changes like this is fun, but exhausting, and it's great to hear positive response.

DailyBurn Blog : Gyminee is now DailyBurn

The change to the Favorite Foods page was largely due to optimization (some people had 100's, maybe even thousands?) of foods that would try to display on 1 page, and it would tank our server trying to load so much data at one time. So, we do have some ideas of how to improve the usability on that page more.

I agree. I don't think I'll be able to make the next meeting, but the previous meeting was really great. I'm also impressed with Ben's note-taking ability - he didn't miss a word.

Gyminee Blog : Gym Sins

I've got a good one. A (rather large) man walked into the gym one day as I was working out. He waddled over to the leg-press machine and started putting on 45 lb. plates. One after the other, he slowly added them until every available space for weight was taken. By this time, almost all of the 45 lb. plates in the entire gym were on his machine, probably 1,700+ lbs. or so. Of course, all eyes were glued to this guy as he sits down preparing to press this amount of weight. He takes a quick look around the room, and then he goes for it! Yep, he didn't even budge it. He tried a few more times, to no avail. I then watched him slowly put back all of the plates and walk out of gym just as he came in. The funny thing is he probably got a pretty decent workout just by putting on and taking off the plates.
