I am a state employee and I am neither overpaid or lazy. The employees in the office where I work put up with verbal abuse daily from the citizens we are charged with serving. Your abuse is an example. The system is not perfect - we - the employees don't make the rules - we are charged with executing the rules you the citizens create when you vote for your legislators. If you don't like the rules - it's up to you to change them.
