Visual Madness : Virtuoso: INK

Kevin, Daren, Huron. What a great piece of mastermind. A great way to show the world a glimpse of the awesomeness you have in store for us all this and the following years. Been waiting way too long, but I guess you all had a whole lot of fun laughing at us all while you sat there with the goods in your hands, so it's all OK. At least in my book. Keep it going, and I'm sure we'll all have a great time ahead of us! Happy regards, -Stein

Good point. It made kinda sense at first with T11 and stuff, but they should change the name, or else, the other artists may feel left out. =| -Stein

Ordered. Together with Bill Simon's book. Syd's preview convinced me. And it was cheap... $8... Who can say no to that? -Stein

Visual Madness : KABAAM #1 - All Strung Out

Yeah. Variety. Just like in flourishing and magic. If you do the same trick with different sleights each time, it still appears as the same trick. Try to look out for new *patterns* to make it fresh. I didn't know that thing about the loops. But what about taking a look at FL studio or something..? There you're totally free and can do whatever you want. Both making your own drum sounds and changing pitches and all on the keyboard sounds etc. http://flstudio.image-line.com/ -Stein

It seemed kinda like an AAAAA composition... Try making different parts and maybe combine them into something more interesting. Like ABABC maybe? Use structure. And try to come up with some chord-lines which rent so obvious. Make it interesting for the listener. =) -Stein

One of the biggest risks and most awesome tricks to do is "The trick that cannot be explained" by Dai. It's great. Check it out if you haven't. The explanation offers a lot of different ideas and ways to come out of your mess. -Stein

Visual Madness : The Pot Called You... What?!

I got this album some time ago, but never got the time to listen to it, but after you posted about it here, I've been listening to them pretty much. The sound is really great. My favourite of theirs right now is probably Church. If there is one band I want to reccomend to people right now it would be either Mason Proper or Battle. They are both awesome. TADA! As well as Zeromancer, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Athlete and Maps. Of course. -Stein

Thanks for changing it back again. I'm sure there is room for a better Visualmadness.com., but until it's necessary, or we all are damn tired of this site... Don't change it. Good decision, altho the other one had a lot of nice stuff on it as well. -Stein

Visual Madness : Take a Holiday... in Space

Really enjoyed the songs Kev. Will look into the album. First one (Tech Romance) was awesome. A few bands that I think aren't very well known around the world is: Superfamily (Norway) - http://www.myspace.com/superfamilyKent (Sweden) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kent_(band)Zeromancer (Norway) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZeromancerMadrugada (Norway) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madrugada Check those out if you want some new music.
double facers : Is the card really lost?

This was a good reminder. I like the way you point out small things that we other magicians often forget. That's really the only way to be a better magician. Study _every_single_part of a trick and the handling of it.. And when we forget something, you remind us. Thanks a lot. Appreciated. -Stein

Well, the color, brightness and contrast editing is good, but when it comes to text and painting and moving selected things around.Eh.. It simply doesn't work. You can't move the text around to see where you would like it the most, and you can't spin it around and stuff. So it's very limited, just as a lot of other free editing programs are, but there is one which is pretty good. Paint.NET, which...isn't compatible with Ubuntu. Yet. -Stein

It is. But thats still an editing program isn't it? It's just that its for photos instead of moving pictures. Gimp edits photos. -Stein
