B.S. Drive down to CA, where the liquor laws have been a lot more lax than the current-to-be-enforced WA law ever will be. 36% of all accident fatalities in CA are alcohol related. Here in Washington? 47% Oregon? 37% Idaho? 29% Even in Alaska, where the booze is somewhat regulated, is highly consumed (lived there) and hella more expensive, the rate is 35%. But, just to make your day, the state with the highest consumption of ice cream? Yep, Alaska! There's more going on in WA for these results than just alcohol availability, such as lack of accountability, local culture, etc.. Just go to any court and sit through a day or so of hearings. Funny how many are being dealt down, or sentences/jail time being lessened.......

Been buying the Honeycrisp for the last several weeks at big wholesale store that starts with a "C". Wonderful. Fuji was my favorite, but the variety from Chili had some issues.
Very juicey, wonderful taste, fairly inexpensive.

Ya'll seemed to have missed the fact that though she "faces more than 18 years in prison" that doesn't mean she's been sentenced yet. Some further information, from another news source:
"Ana Cary Ayala Bustos, 16, was found guilty of second-degree murder. A Snohomish County Superior Court jury also found that Bustos participated in the killing to keep her position in a gang.
That could mean a longer sentence for Bustos. The standard range is 10 to 18 years. Bustos faces up to life in prison because the jury found that her motive for the attack was gang-related. "
Now, if the sentencing judge would do what's right......

Folks, the judge sentenced this fella to close to the maximum under the law, as per the Everett Herald, which KOMO should have stated in their article but for some reason chose to exclude:
"McDonald, 28, has never been in trouble before, not even getting traffic tickets, the court was told. Still, Kurtz said the crime deserved stiff punishment. His sentence was just six months shy of the top punishment allowed under state guidelines"
The gang-banger girl in Sultan chose to fight her charges in court, got what she deserved. This fella plead out, accepted his responsibility for his actions and expressed remorse. I'm not defending the guy, I think the sentence is too lenient also, but instead of wailing on the judge, contact your State Senators and Representatives and tell them to get off their a** and fix this. It doesn't take very long, just look at the time required that it took them to fix the issue with law enforcement personnel being killed. This has been going on for way too long and the folks we elect need to act. Change the guidelines, insert mandatory minimum sentences, etc.

Sorry, you need to understand that the costs of living in AK is not the same as the costs of living in WA.

Spoken from a true dope user. Oops. Sorry. It's not called dope anymore, according to my son. Spoken from a true weed user.
