And no it is not just Obama. We all know this. It is the governers, senators, congressman as well. We also know it started before Obama. We do not argue that point. So please take a close look at what he is doing and the things he is saying... then stop and think how you would feel if that were you personally he was speaking about... I am sure if he said hey hlindsey67 your arrogaunt you would immediately fight against it. But because he makes the statement general and about all of us you ignore it, because it does not pertain to you personally. How would you feel if you were a vet who lost his/her leg in a war (whether your were for it or not does not matter, he is commander and chief and you do as he says) and when you returned without a leg you were told here is a bill for your medical costs.... Just consider for a moment how those vets would feel......

Hlindsey67 I think your missing the point here. Personally I would like for Obama to succeed. But with the spending he is doing and the outrages laws he is attempting to pass, and the people who he appoints to office not paying their taxes, his own statements about our country, .. how can you back this man?? I personally do not think it is right that he says we are arrogaunt.... Yes I will admit at times we are... but so is everyone else. It is a fact of nature you will be at some point in your life..... The vets that serve our country and those that die for our country deserve more then a pat on the back and told job well done.... they deserve praise and our help upon returning to our country so that they heal from their wounds... not be told by the way here is your bill for your medical expenses from the bomb that blew off your leg....... Its just crazy what he is doing. I don't think anyone wants our government to fail and that is the reason we are doing this. It is to prevent it from failling. History has already shown us that the things Obama is doing will not work. It is crazy to repeat it again.

Dont feel alone Charles4truth. I traveled 4 hours just to get to the one in Sacramento California and then 4 hours home, bypassing two others that were being held closer to home. The Sacramento Bee stated that they expected maybe 200 to show up... There was an estimated 5000 when it started at noon and it kept growing. I estimate that the number was between 7000 and 10000. I can't be sure though, I was not the designated bean counter for the day.

I am so glad that you were able to make up your own opinion on things. So many young people your age do not have any desire to take notice of the politics of our nation, whether it be city, state, or federal. I know exactly what your saying when you voted for not doing something and the city does it anyway. We have the same issue here and I am sure being as you are talking about round abouts that your city is much larger then the one I live in. The population of the town I live in is under 3000. And even when we vote no on things the city does as they see fit. It's a shame that the people we put in charge do not care what we think. Its time this changes.

I would agree with you that their are enough programs out there to help those who do not have medical, dental and vision care.............. except for the fact of what happened to me. I took care of my husband for 7 yrs after he survived a massive stroke (age 41) leaving him totally disabled. He required 24 hour care. He was given medicare after 2 years of disability status from the feds, and received medi-cal to cover what medicare did not. I was covered under his name for medi-cal because I was not allowed to work due to his care needs. However, immediately after he passed away I was cut off the medi-cal. Leaving me completely uncovered for medical care needs. I still have no medical coverage today (2 years after his death)..... do not get me wrong I am not complaining but I feel that it was the wrong time to end someones medi-cal coverage. I feel that there is plenty of programs out there..... but to have been cut off at such a time was wrong ... and maybe what we have now needs a bit of tweeking in certain areas....

CCourtem I am afraid that our WWll vets are dwindling. And with their dwindling the younger generations have forgotten what they went through. My father served in China Burma and India. He flew many of hours bringing wounded out through the hump. He was assigned with the Fighting Tigers under Gen Chenult for some time. But even his grandchildren do not seem to care about what he did for them. How sad a legacy for those wonderful men who kept us safe and kept our liberties entact.

I too am tired of this holding back. I came up with several ways that they could end this here they are.... 1.) Navy Seal goes into the water, swims under the dingy and with something puts a hole in the floor of the dingy..... when it begins filling with water what do you think they will do...... 2.) Navy Seal goes into the water, swims to the dingy, attaches a rope which is attached to a small wench on the Navy vessel which brings the dingy in close to the Navy vessel .. this ends any assistance from the other pirates that might show up to assist them... second it brings the dingy in so close that they really have no choice but to end the stand off..... 3.) Navy Vessels surround the dingy, getting as close as possible on all sides blocking them in. This prevents assistance from other pirates and prevents the pirates on the dingy from leaving the dingy without being seen. I mean come on .. I'm just a dumb blonde female (joke) and I have better ideas than just sitting hundreds of yards away waiting........

DMN also remember that some people need a place to vent. It really doesnt matter the subject that they are using to get their frustration out. Some are so angry they need a place to talk. And believe it or not some of these posts appear to have violence implicated as an answer. We really do not want anyone doing any violence and if expessing it verbally (or as verbally as you can in a message board on the net) prevents more senseless violence then this site has done much good.

No you did not mention alcoholics... but because he was one I became a single parent ..... and your comment "How could people be brain washed into thinking kids do not need a 2 parent home." makes it sound like you would leave children in unsafe environments to keep both parents in the home.... not a good idea in my books.

gwashingtonkin I feel for you and your family and totally understand. But I am not answering your post for the purpose of this site. I am answering because I want to make you an offer. My husband survived a massive stroke at 41 yrs of age. I cared for him at home for 7 years, until he had 9 stroke in 5 days and passed away. I do not work, because I care for my mother she is 77. I do not know how long your mother will need help after a hip replacement. But if it would help, I am willing to take care of your father while she has surgery. If your parents are willing to cover the costs involved in getting me there and back home, I am willing... get in touch with me if this is of any help...

well considering I don't use just the tv for information I think your wrong.....I use the internet too.... I don't just go to this site, I have others areas of the internet I use for information. I believe many of us here use other sites. As for your second comment.. my daughter is one of those that has a nose ring. I don't think it has anything to do with the persons abilities for work, it is just a piece of jewelry. A form of expression. Just like her constant change of hair color. A teenagers form of rebellion which really hurts no one, except those who think that we must all conform to the same ideal....... As for your third comment... for some time I was a single parent.... my first husband was an abuser and alcoholic... I would rather raise my kids alone than have them be abused and exposed to that..... so you believe that kids should be raised in an unsafe environment.... Your comment sounds similair to those liberals we are fighting against....
