I still miss Shapely Prose so much!
My secret outlet has been my FB messages with my sister, who, being A Teen, is one of the only Hillary supporters among her friends. She sends me the terrible memes her friends share and we judge them together. :D
I'm moving *away from* North Carolina in a few weeks and am.... mostly in denial about how much packing and stuff I have to do. I packed six boxes of books last week and was like "welp, that was terrible."
I was more or less prepared for Feelings, but not for that cliffhanger aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
(I'm against season-ending cliffhangers as a rule, and I'm also against Flagrantly Irresponsible Time Travel and Manpain With Excessive Consequences... yet somehow I still enjoy this show!)

My closet is full of blazers that I can't wear yet because I keep neglecting to take them to the tailor--I'm five feet tall and therefore have unusually short arms, so the sleeves are *always* way too long, even with petite sizes. But I keep buying them anyway....
Woooo!! Mine was exactly two months ago, and I think I've more or less recovered... :o
OH MAN, I did the same thing--well, not at a Christmas party, and I think I was maybe eight, and it was a different book, but "asked my mom what an orgy was" and "pronounced it with a hard g," yes. She got out the dictionary and read me and my brother the definition. She also explained all the Bad Words in Les Misérables to us before taking us to see it when we were ten and eight (but I still skipped over "Lovely Ladies" every time I listened to the cast album).
I *did* a 7th grade book report on a Piers Anthony book... I just found the file on my computer (how do I still have this??), but I'm afraid to open it. :o
