I just returned from my church where we had open prayer for the Nat'l Day of Prayer. At least Pres. Obama did make a Proclamation for the Day of Prayer. Our country certainly needs it. Many prayers were lifted on behalf of our politicians but there was also acknowledgment that much of these troubles we're having we have brought upon ourselves for neglect in our voting and getting so involved in our own lives that we didn't see this all coming. Perhaps Obama is our wake-up call to get back to the basics! Maybe, just maybe, God will not take away His blessing of this great nation.
