Breitbart.com : In squalid Haiti camps, rape stalks women: Amnesty

Doesn't Amnesty International have a history of massaging numbers to support their cause? I don't mean to take away from the real suffering of any rape victim nor do I doubt their stories are true but it's a real shame that AI's past of dishonesty now gives me pause to want to help people who are in real, urgent need. Somehow, I'm reminded of a boy crying out 'WOLF'...

I couldn't agree more! I believe that people don't always get the government they want but they do get the government they deserve. If you are not willing to fight for your freedom then you WILL loose it.

Don't worry kiddo, in a few years you'll be in the 7th grade and will take a Reading Comprehension class where you will have to "understand what you read" (assuming you read this at all). "Two RAF Tornado F3 fighters were sent to shadow the Russian Blackjack bombers after intercepting them near Stornoway, in the Outer Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland in the early hours of March 10, it said." They intercepted them "off the west coast of Scotland"; in other words, before they made it to England.

Breitbart.com : GOP\'s Snowe voting for Democrats\' health care bill

America if far too strong for the Dooms-Day scenario you describe; freedom and democracy is ingrained too deep into our culture and blood lines to ever be "too far gone". I point to what is happening today as proof. I have never seen the Republicans this energized before. I remember the 2000 election after 8 years of Clinton and the term "Broken-Glass-Republicans" was coined, (a Republican who would crawl over broken glass to get to the ballot box). The energy in today's Party is dwarfing that. Americans as a whole are having "buyers remorse" over Obama and the Republican Party is the only thing that can fix it. BHO has fired up the Conservative wing of the Republican Party more than McCain or Bob Dole ever could. Bush just after 911 is the only thing I can think of that comes close. Republicans will take control in 2010 and then again in 2012, count on it!

I'm all for a party with a "big tent" but this is too fundamentally contrary to the views of Republicans. May Snowe follow the path of Jim Jeffers and Arlen Specter and get on the other side of the isle where she belongs.

Agreed. If your partner is STD free then for a guy all it takes is a quick shower and then it's like it never happened. There aren't any physical residual effects from sex that last on the timescale that they are talking about in this article. (except the whole hymen thing of course, and STDs).

"...this list is determined by more than 32 variables that measure a company's commitment to Hispanic hiring..." How is this diversity if it targets a single group i.e. Hispanics? It seems to me that Hispanic Business Magazine is a racist publication that is no better than David Duke and his organizations.

simkatu has a point. What the hell does Obama have to do with this? Your just as bad as all of those nuts on the left who would go out of their way to attack Bush. It could have been an article about a horse being pulled out of the mud with a wench and they would have tried to somehow link it to Bush and that it was his fault. It was called Bush derangement syndrome then and its called Obama derangement syndrome now.
