Sorted, I had to delete the #gs.apple.com line as well. The phone is on the latest baseband.

How can I prevent umbrella from NOT updating my baseband? I've deleted the host file created by umbrella, deleted the line that points itunes to Saurik's server still I can't update the baseband to the latest and since I'm selling the phone that's the best way to prove it's officially unlocked. Thanks

Well Confucious you can ban me if you wish although it's gonna be totally unfair and unjustified but in my and many other people opinion sometimes you go too far even though u can... still I'd stay you are a good moderator but.......

If u bought it a year ago it's old bootrom but right now nothing u can do if u don't have the official carrier's sim. Then you could use spirit to jb and ultrasn0w to unlock but you wouldn't be able to go to 4.0 yet.
