Did a clean restore with 6.1.1, but didn't install (edited) and it didn't happen since. Now I'm on 6.1.2 and no (edited), the weather works fine with no issue. I use MyWi 6.0 from cydia and it works for tethering. The only thing I notice about 6.1.1 is that the weather app doesn't work, but the notification weather works. I also notices that I get a little better data signals with t-mobile, so it might a worth while update for you. If you go to iclarified and follows their tutorial, you shouldn't have any problems. They have all the softwares needed for you to download to complete your jailbreak/unlock. What I really like is multi tasking and you can have different wallpaper for springboard and lockscreen. If you relies on iphone themes, I wouldn't update yet, because winterboard is not compatible with iOS 4.0.
