Honestly, I think Ronaldo was the most likable he's ever been in this episode. Maybe it's because the show is self-aware enough at this point to know a lot of the fans despise him, so it gets a lot of humor mileage out of how the Crystal Gems can barely put up with him.

Still, him realizing what he did wrong and deciding to reach out to the people of Beach City to tell them about the Crystal Gems might be, like, the first genuinely nice thing he's done over the course of the series.

I'm not a huge fan of this episode, mainly because Steven is constantly narrating everything everyone does and it got very annoying for me very fast. Which I guess would've been fine if the episode was funnier or more interesting or more... something... but it was just kinda OK.
