They will most certainly last forever. I've gone through two cordless sets since I moved here in 2005. A Motorola kit with two phones, and now a Philips set of 5. So far the Philips are OK but they have charging issues. That's the great thing about a phone with a cord, it never needs charging. Where's my 350? It's around here somewhere!
