Are you for real? Can you read?? That's what I am saying...I have been on I-5 and people are going 45 mph if front me! Which would be what darling??... right UNDER 60. And I am saying this because I drive i-5 each day with the same drivers going far too slow for a freeway. I ALWAYS GO 60mph maybe the max 61! GO 60 mph or at least keep in the general speed of 60...not 45 mph or again don't be driving on the freeway. Get it now?

Gesh..that's crazy. How do you jerk your wheel so hard when someone cuts you off. People cut me off all the time...
Poor lady.

On another note..
I think people are WAY TO TIMID on the road here in the NW. I find that drivers here think there being safe but really just have no confidence on the road. On the highway people are going UNDER 60mph. That's actually dangerous. No need to be agressive oh course, but you got move a little people.

Funny you said that...I had a few of my Seattle friends tell me a few times last year that it was muggy here...I was confused. they don't know what muggy is apparently..but it's been nice and cool this year in FL..most of the time this year it's been cooler there then here! My hubby is in Jacksonville this week and the lows are in the 30's..it's still winter..

We wanted adventure and thought the only other place I could see myself was the Northwest...So we decided to come out here. We have been here over a year..but are moving back to FL to get a house (a bit cheaper there) so we can travel more and be near family..not to mention the beaches and sun. : ) My little brother and sister were born there! small world.

Ooo I miss the manatees..and it's true about orcas they are native all over. I have noticed that it just takes a bit more smiles to get the Seattle folk to open up. : ) Although now that you mention it...people are a bit more "warmer" outside Seattle..hmm peace! Next time your in FL..if there is time you should check out Sarasota Siesta Key Beach to be exact, one of the white sand beaches in the world! Peace!

: ) Thanks. I have met some nice folks..I guess it's not as warm and open like I am used too..I do a smile test frequently where ever I walk..I smile at others on the street and see if they smile back..let's just say the test isn't doing so well.
peace!

True you didn't say "people"..I suppose I am tad bit touchy lately with the the folks here and the "awful place" just rubbed me the wrong way.. I am finding it to be a tad bit pretentious and snooty in cases... and fleece world is a nick name I use for the people up here..everyone seems to where fleece or felt like clothing, next time I'll keep that too myself. my apologies..

Haven't been to any of the Sea Worlds in Cali or Texas. Every state I land? Calm down there...

I think people don' t pay attention because it's not presented the right way. Places like SeaWorld or any places that hold animals captive have a tremendous impact on how we pay attention to and are educated about the issues of conservation. Instead the tendency is to go the entertainment route, which is unfortunate. Oh well then what shall we do.
