Unfortunately people don't like to read, or take responsibility for their actions when it comes to hacking smart phones.

I have read where people have been able to do this, I haven't. Everyone's various steps are different. My personal experience the other day was receiving error 21 consistently from itunes if the tss server was running when performing and update (not a restore). If you don't run the tss server and your hosts file is not being rerouted to cydia or a local IP then your iphone will have its baseband updated as well.

Might as well just make a version of this program with a scroll bar on it so all the people with EGA graphics cards (640×350 pixels) can use it too. :P

This isn't a jailbreaking program. If your 3g is on 4.1 with the 5.14.02 modem firmware this program will not aid you in unlocking it. No program can.

Don't get me wrong, what you do is awesome! But from a user's standpoint, how about releasing just 1 update a week as opposed to one every day? It's insane trying to keep up on a daily basis what has been added, removed, fixed, etc. I imagine a slower release cycle would see fewer issues introduced into the program inadvertently as well. There's no rush on our part to get updates so quickly, the core of the program has been there for a long time. Signed, grateful for your efforts.

The Firmware Umbrella : TinyUmbrella - 4.1.9 Coming Soon

There's a bug in this program. When restoring an iphone 4 on 4.0.1 with 01.59.00 the restore will appear to hang about 75% of the way through. The console will state it is validating an shsh (maybe the baseband one). I gave it 5 minutes, yanked the usb and reconnected. I then kicked from recovery and the phone was fine. Itunes showed two iphones connected at once, one was being restored still the other was waiting to be set up. I set it up and it was fine on 4.1 with 01.59.00.

The Firmware Umbrella : TinyUmbrella - New UI Complete!

The program has been updated. It now grabs ALL SHSHs on file with Cydia at one time. Good riddance to the old time wasting method of getting them one at a time.
