I've run into this guy a few times while walking our dogs around Venice. He's super friendly and seems cool however he is always wearing those toe shoes. I thought maybe he goes to the gym or something and it's an exception and not his usual footwear.

So im thinking hmmm maybe we will hang out eventually, I'm willing to overlook the toe shoes.

Then yesterday I was walking Elliott and in the distance there is a guy cleaning out his ukulele in the grassy area in front of an apartment building.

It's toe shoes and we have another chat in front of what I come to realize is his home, which is not the apartment building but an old school bus parked there (the short kind). Looked pretty clean at least lol.

Wait are gym activities part of the offsite event?

I hate working out in front of people I know or don't know. Look away I'm hideous!!!

Yeah. I'm disappointed in her at this point. I definitely did not expect what I saw when it was installed. I would not have agreed to the changes if asked.

Also, I actually forgot about the custom pull. So many materials ordered I didn't remember about it, so when I saw the shower glass installed I assumed everything but the finish color was as we designed. I thought something was off with the generic pull (why didn't we use a style matching everything else?), but didn't think to question it because my designer said nothing.

Then last week I found the pull in a box here. And last night I went through every materials ordered to see if anything else I purchased is not installed. Literally counting switchplates and GFI outlets around my home lol.

She did communicate the original design, which included an awning(?) window on the door, my pull install, custom shade finish. Already months beyond the project timeline, my contractor gets to ordering the glass and realized the cost to do this design is way over the quoted rate in our contract.

So then they were scrambling to figure it out, and we all agree to forgo the window. I have no idea if she communicated with him at this point on new specs, or if he just hastily ordered the generic finishes to get it done. When the glass came I mentioned to her the finish color doesn't match. She said, "it would have cost too much to do the custom shade" and that it "goes with everything else".

Haha. Well I cannot afford any more designer fees at this point so I'll spare you for now.
