Stewart points out the ridiculous, and drives his message with reason, albeit in a entertaining fashion. If you can't laugh at the absurdity that politicians and rightwingnuts use to defend their unpopularity,nor the danger of their hate speech and disingenuous agenda, then you have no outlet for your anger at these threatening losers. But I wouldn't expect an opinionated toadie to get it, and perhaps the author just hopes there are enough idiots out there to believe his preposterous hypotheses.
