It is truly astonishing that, apparently, NO ONE in the statist "liberal" side of the media would challenge Stark on his incredibly arrogant . . . and downright stupid . . . claim that the more debt a country has, the wealthier it is. DEBT . . . and the interest it collects . . . is an OBLIGATION . . . a claim AGAINST one's own assets. It is NOT an asset in itself. Stark was formerly a banker, yet he does not seem to understand that simple principle. He claims that government debt is not the same as personal debt. Maybe it's not . . . . in the universe that he is from. Is he from an ALTERNATIVE universe where all the rules of common sense are the opposite of our own?
