the knife has the victim's tissue on the blade!

the knife was washed down w/ bleach & hidden in a shoe box back at the boyfriend's home!

the victim had never been to the boyfriend's home

the boyfriend was a KNIFE COLLECTOR and this knife was part of that collection

he also collected violent/ illicit Japanese "manga comics' which depicted women being raped & killed at KNIFE POINT

because Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights (which Italy is a party to) guarantees his right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty

but don't worry, the same right will be extended to your pal Amanda for the duration of her trial

They are in denial and can't bear to acknowledge the evidence revealed in Judge Micheli's sentencing report on co-accused Rudy Guede:

biological tissue of the victim is on the blade of a knife that has Amanda's DNA on the handle - and this knife was found after it had been washed down in bleach & hidden away in a shoe box back at the boyfriend's apartment.

Wrong: they found the victim's tissue on the end of a knife that belonged to Amanda's boyfriend. The knife was washed down in bleach and hidden in a shoe box back at the boyfriend's apartment. The victim had never been to this apartment. And, best of all, Amanda's DNA is on the handle of this knife.
