Happiness for all, he does not deserve to be released, EVER, I used to live in the cottage community and doing well now in Portland. I have heard he has caused trouble for people in the cottage community and is very calculating and manipulative.
If only the victims mother knew he has access to knives everyday, goes on trips in the community all the time. Has a cell phone computer with the internet access and as we all know has gained a ton of weight since his arrest and subsequent commitment to the Hospital.
How could a person stab someone 42 times and not feel remorse. This guy should not even be considered for release period. In case you all want to know you can see him in person every Friday at Wall-mart shopping with his group of residents.
There is no way I could live in that house knowing he could snap at anytime. He also is not supervised I've been told when using knives.
I encourage the family to fight his release for many years to come.
They would be shocked if they knew he used to be able to spend weekends at his parents home while at the Oregon State Hospital

The decision to release this individual would be a grave mistake. I used to live in the cottage community that he currently lives in and I have heard that he is very calculating and manipulative. He has access to knives on a daily basis and I have heard through the grapevine that he has caused trouble for other residents that he lives with.
If he is so rehabilitated which I assure you he is not. He should be transfered to a maximum security PRISON to continue to pay for this horrific crime. Mr Bowen will never again see the light of day yet this guy as you can see is living it up going to malls, trips playing video games surfing the net. This guy has access to knives on a daily basis without someone watching him. I would not want to live with this killer period it's tradgedy waiting to happen.
