Just because someone (in this case the media) says something doesn't make it true. I bought a fifth of fireball from Albertsons, tag said $15.98, total price was around $22.05, it costed around 24-25 dollars from the state run liquor stores. Also, a fifth of smirnoff at safeway is about $10.50, with taxes that will come to about $15-$16, in the state run liquor stores it costed $15.95, so in my experience liquor is cheaper now, thank you costco and I'm glad I voted for 1183.
