The fact that the NYT maintains predictably uber-lefty ideologue Paul Krugman as its "chief economist" pretty much says it all... I periodically will peruse a NY Times at a friends house or if I otherwise come across one (without having to pay for it). Invariably I put it down wondering how anybody can read that thinking it offers fair coverage of anything remotely political. The thing is like a daily newsletter from the Democratic Party...

The differences between West and Obama are so glaring... West is SO much more substantive in what he says. And he has the deep abiding respect of a true patriot - one who believes in this nation's foundational principals and exceptional-ism. America has not done everything right over the course of its 235 year existence. There have been tragic and shameful things done by Americans and indeed by American government. A politician ought to be able to recognize such things however without being a kneejerk American appologist like Obama is. Further, you don't hear Obama making too many references to American history, like West does, because that was never the kind of "change" he had in mind. All along Obama's change was not restorative change but transformation change that would be carried out largely according to the vision of the Left... transforming America into something it has never been and was never intended by its founders to be.

It just occurred to me that the SEIU logo looks a lot like that bizarrely re designed Missile Defense Agency logo http://www.mda.mil/ (which of course looks like a modified version of the Obama logo) Probably just coincidence but aren't the similarities strikingly similar??? Right down to the number of "rays" coming off off the "stars"..if thats what they are.....
