I'd be horrified and devistated if my child behaved that way! Leave her in the cell for a bit to show her what her future holds if she doesn't straighten up! Unfortunately the parents have probably already lawyered up to sue, so the kid is most likely going to end up possesing a victim mentality and isn't going to learn a thing due to inept parenting.

Hmmm.... here's a thought. Perhaps the parents who complained should, oh, I don't know, monitor their OWN childrens cell phones. Why should everyone be punished because a few parents were offended? If their kids are doing something they don't like, take little Jonny's cell phone away, problem solved.

wow... who peed in your cheerios?! This was someone's daughter/sister/friend. You sound like a bitter old man who has nothing better to do with their time than revel in someone else's misery. Sad.

I hope all involved make a recovery. The bus driver must be completly shaken up by the incident as well. It can't be easy for her/him. Best wishes Jamaican101, hope she pulls through.

I don't think there's enough info here to come to the conclusion that he was a "spoiled brat". It just said that he threw his lunch away. Maybe he just wasn't hungry... maybe he doesn't like chicken nuggets. Who knows?
if it was that big of a deal she should have called the kids parents, they're the ones paying for his lunch, afterall.

We're on the same page, believe me.... I just think there are more important things going on in the news. Stuff like this belongs on the front of tabloids. (I am surprised though, that Todd Palin isn't behind the kid poking him in the back with a shotgun.... )
