Hey Mari, when Chet's unemployed next year, you can use that $49 and go buy yourself a carton of cigarettes.

The weather radio did not go off last night...only the sirens. I agree about having one though. When the sirens went off last Wednesday, the weather radio went off a full five minutes before the sirens did. As much as I cuss it out for the 3am flood watches, I wouldn't want to go without it!

Slides are too hot, might get burned. Swings go high, might fall off or kick another kid. Monkey bars are too dangerous might fall off and break an arm or bust a lip on the way down. Tire swings may make you dizzy and cause you to fall off or throwup..or both. Merry go rounds may also cause dizziness resulting in a fall. Teeter totters can pinch hands and feet and hurt your backside when the other person dumps you. Sand can get in your eyes and have hidden "treasures" in it. The gr a ss could be treated with chemicals or have been recently fertilized by someone's pet. Bottom line is DON'T TAKE YOUR KIDS TO THE PARK...LOCK THEM IN A PADDED ROOM WHERE THEY CAN BE PROTECTED 24/7.

If they guy had received a sentence she "approved" of then she never would of brought up the juror incident. Sounds like lies to me.

Also found this on another sitewww.kcci.com :
Dalasta Past Crashes
Records show that Dalasta has been involved in four crashes in the past nine years. One happened along Highway 415. Witnesses said Dalasta rear-ended an SUV, flipping it over and injuring a mother and her 11-month-old daughter. Authorities said Dalasta fled the scene and forced another car off the road before he was stopped during that crash.
"It's like looking at someone whose got a criminal record and you run their criminal history and you see all the activity and you wonder why isn't this person in jail?" said Capt. Greg Throckmorton of the Ankeny Police Department.
Dalasta's license was suspended for 3.5 years, but was reinstated in 2008.

He has 29 entries on his online court page. Failure to stop in a safe & sure distance, speeding, following to close, operating with expired license. He also has one for theft and has trouble paying his bills: Capitol One, Ford Motor Co, Montgomery Ward (wow that's old), Greenwood Trust and others and these were before the big recession hit. The guy makes between 35 and 40 grand at Tone's (if he still works there). Hope he was atleast paying his car insurance...if he has any.

Do you get bonus points if the helmet doesn't crack or fly off?

According to <a href="http://www.press-citizen.com" target="_blank">www.press-citizen.com the guy was in the bathtub trying to kill himself when the cops arrived. A hair dryer in the tub would of been more effective than their tasers and saved us all some money down the drain.

I was in Walmart yesterday and the line had about 20 people in it and only two registers running at the return counter. I was glad I did not have to return anything!
