There never was a time out. All of it was a rush to get on camera with a response and denounce the other side. We saw it with the politicians and with the extreme political types here. There were a lot of fingerpointing individuals after the Giffords shooting. The funny thing, many missed the true culprit. Laughner. Yet they all wanted to throw each other under the bus. They didn't pull the trigger. Laughner did. But it was easy to cast blame on the opposite sides of the debates. And then it was amazing how fast they all rushed to get on camera and make a statement. Now that things have been moved back to the 'you're an idiot' followed quickly by 'no you are', it's nothing more than business as usual by our honorable leaders. But they give away tax breaks, ignore the illegal workforce driving down the working wage to the point where hardworking americans can't do the work for the pay offered. Why? Because there are illegal immigrants willing to live 30 to a 800 sq ft house and work without benefits, well below minimum wage, in illegal working conditions, and sending everything they can out of the country. Their kids take up much needed welfare dollars. They flood the hospitals, and ditch out on the bill. They take full advantage of the benefits that US citizens should have access to if need be. Cowboy you're absolutely right. There was something put in place to prevent them from taking control and doing whatever they want. But as our freedoms have slowly been eroded away over the past decades, many haven't even seen it slip away. Freedom of speach? Gone. I can't pay for a cable tv package and see an action movie where someone might swear or get hurt, without some bad parent complaining that their kid may see it. PC has replaced my right to choose.
