I really appreciate the response of the Pacific Asian Coalition. Their statement was truly one of maturity and sensitivity. If more people in this world could take a cue from them, the world would be a much nicer place to be.

I just want to be the first one to say this is not going to be popular on this board. I am surprised they are doing this. Homeland security concerns was the reason the 2008 law was implemented in the first place. This law has been a major pain in the rear but what are the other options?
I feel for his whole family. His parents, brothers, ex-wives and kids. Thet are pretty helpless right now in this. Charlie Sheen needs help badly and until he accepts that they have to sit back and watch and pray he gets help before he hurts or kills himself or somebody else. The childrens mom did the right thing. She has admitted in dealing with her own issues. She and her kids need all the support they can get. No matter how you look at it this is a tragic situation and it probably is only going to get worse.

I work at a casino in Oregon ane as a matter of policy we do not take the EBT card for cash wihdrawls. One day a lady tried to use her card an we told her we couldn't help her. It turned into an ugly situation because the customers around her let her know what they thought of her using tax payer money for gambling. To calm the situation down security was called. As employees we are very pleased to enforce this policy the program is to help people in situations of need not entertainment.
