hello people im hoping someone might be able to help me . i have vista home , iphone 2g 8gig ,i tunes 8.2 . the phone is up to 3.01 im trying to or have downloaded 3.0 firmware ready to jailbreak and unlock . the problem im having is iv downloaded the firmware from the i community , its a zip and iv tried everything i can to get it to be the box with a note on it , renamed it , moved it renamed it all sorts . redsnow doesnt recognise it and it just wont turn into the box. when i right click and properties it always says .ipsw as iv renamed it but after that which you dont see when its on the desktop it still says .zip . please help me im struggling iv read through a few of the other posts but nothing seems to work . thanks
