Oh man. I don't know where I'm going on the Internet come July 2nd, where I will find a safe place to be a woman in the comments section, or where I will spend each hour of my morning, but I just want to thank everyone here for being smart and funny and warm and wonderful and for being the light in my life when I really needed it.
My life has lots of little things that could get better (a new job, an idea of how I want to spend the next 5 years, working up the nerve to tell my man friend I am totally falling for him) but right now I just want to ruminate on all the great stuff that has been published here, all the great comments i have read, and all the great people that come here each day. If The Toast was your dying girlfriend, you wouldn't care about delivery fees and get all of your favorite foods to the house each day. Each meal would be delicious and each craving satisfied.

When a Toastie gave another Toastie a liver/kidney/bodypart???? out of the kindness of their heart and I cried for 30 minutes because i'd had a truly terrible day and could not believe how much authentic love and warmth and goodness still exists despite all the garbage shit the abyss throws at us.
I check twitter when I wake up as I think the blue light of my terrible iPhone son helps me wake up, and I almost wish I hadn't because I am so sad about Brexit, so sad about the future of our already terrible world, and already prepping myself for the reality that Donald J. Trump, he of extreme racism and sexism, has a much better chance of winning than I'd previously accepted.
And The Toast is fucking ending in a week.
I think she's funny and kind of ludicrous and is one of those celebrities who's like "woah, wtf, how did I get here? This world is so weird. Let me post about it and take down the 4th wall for those who are obsessed with celebrity culture," which i really appreciate. But if you don't find her funny/endearing I don't think it's a big deal -- different strokes for different folks, baby.
