Not at all, if someone wants to pay her to write a book or be on a reality show then good for her.

Same goes for her daughters.

I just don't believe for one second that she is interested in anything more than her own fame and fortune however.

The apology that President issued wasn't for the the Afghan government or the Afghan people. It was to protect US and NATO troops. As CiC, it is the President's job to do anything and everything to protect the troops from violence outside the scope of the mission. In short, the POTUS is responsible for their safety.

If we want this country to be the "city on a hill" and a beacon for justice and freedom, we don't get there by stooping down to the levels of those that want to harm and kill us. We get there by NEVER compromising our values, chief among them our support for religious freedom and tolerance.

The burning of the Qurans was accidental and regrettable. Nevertheless, by our own standards and morals, someone has to take responsibility for it; Both because it is the right thing to do and because it is the smart thing to do. What President Obama did was the adult, responsible course of action for the President of the United States. Any GOP president would have done the exact same thing (like GWB did a few years back) for the exact same reasons.

I don't hate Sarah Palin. I have little to no respect for her intelligence and I think she is far more concerned about her own fame, fortune and celebrity than anything having to do with public service, but I don't hate her.
