I upgraded to 4.0 on my 3G and then used the (first) beta of redsn0w and although it took a while to get in DFU mode (first ever issue I have had to get in DFU mode - always been OK with this in the past!) it worked fine but I enabled multi-tasking on my 3G. Sort of wished I hadn't now as I don't thnk the 3G can handle it very well! How do I get rid of that? Can I just run the (newer) beta of redsn0w and unselect enable multi-tasking (and unselect Cydia as like the DEV team say, you don;t want to instal Cydia over itself!)?
Thanks!

Also - I have an official SIM card - would I be better using this to start and also saying YES to the "Legit iPhone?" question? I.e. No Hacktivation?
I pick the iPhone 3G(S) picture right as there is no 3G only picture? I guess the 3G and 3G(S) picture is the same?
Many thanks - as I said, much appreciated :)

What files do I need to take with me? The 3G 3.1.2 original firmware, the 3.1.4 pwn tool (DMG file) and do I need to point at my current firmwaare (so do I need to take 3.0.1 with me too?)
As I said all I want to do round his is build a custom 3.1.2 (so without the baseband update) which includes Cydia.
Also do I need to say YES or NO to have I pwned before?
I know I need to say NO to the Legit iPhone question!
Help!! Many thanks

Thanks. I tried PUSHFIX about 1 week agao before I re JB using a valid SIM to get PUSH working. PushFix did work but broke Exchange email - so I re-JB and used a valid SIM and now all is OK.
So - PushFix no good for me.

Err - OK - but to get PUSH working, the latest I read was that you need to activate using iTunes and a valid ATT (or o2 here in the UK) SIM card? If we do as above and don't outsmart redsn0w and ultrasn0w, then how do we get PUSH working?
Thanks :)
