Without Term Limits, there is no limit to how long ONE person can be in any position.. all they have to do is get re-elected.

You do not fix a really big problem by fixing it all at once.. you fix the most obviously broken portion first.. which is Term Limits
for Congress. Take out the garbage.. then wash the floors. ( or windows, or whatever ). But first, you have to get the garbage
out of your house, if you don’t know matter how clean you make the floors, you still have a room full of garbage.

TERM LIMITS NOW !!!!!
The solution to Career Politicians is TERM LIMITS. You can’t be a career politician, if you only have a set number of years
to be one in. If you mean appointed or other government employees, well that is another issue. But for the people who make
the Laws.. TERM LIMITS are the only answer. TERM LIMITS NOW !!!!
If everyone was as well informed as the people replying to this blog, then perhaps that would work. But the simple fact is that they aren’t.
Additionally, there are people who actually think that Pa-Lousy and many other D’s and R’s ARE doing a good job.. we all know that they
aren’t but if we don’t live in their State or District, we can’t vote them out. Constitutional TERM LIMITS solves that problem !! Whether
loved or hated; agreed with or not; no one can serve more than the specified number of terms.

PLEASE.. Call your Reps and Senators !! Demand term limits.. Contact the office of the Governor in your State and demand that he or she
push the Senators and Representatives from your State to author legislation for a Constitutional Amendment to require TERM LIMITS. Push
your State legislature to introduce State level legislation as well.. all it takes is 2/3 of the States voting YES to approve a Constitutional Amendment
or to force one .. that is NO small task.. but it MUST be done.. TERM LIMITS NOW !!!!
Yes.. TERM LIMITS are the ONLY way to legally keep control of the Congress by limiting the time that
anyone can occupy the peoples house. We have them for the President ( thank God ) and many States
have them for Governors .. ( my own State of Florida included ). We MUST have them for Congress..

TERM LIMITS NOW !!!!
Yes, but frankly, why would Barney Frank care ? Or anyone else in the Senate or House for that matter.. I can’t vote for him
or against him. All he has to do is maintain the good will of those people in his District.. and he is golden.

Term Limits solve the problem of a District repeatedly sending the same tired old piece of meat to Washington. Yes, we should
march, but if things keep going as they are; as quickly as they have been moving in the last few months.. just how long will we
actually have the RIGHT to march without being called insurrectionists ??

TERM LIMITS NOW !!!
I agree partially with what you say.. I do regret that if real TERM LIMITS were imposed ( Constitutional Amendment ) we would, in fact,
loose some pretty good, hard working people. But think of it like a cancer surgery… in order to make certain that the cancer is completely
removed, the surgeon must also remove a certain amount of “good” tissue. The question is how BAD is the bad that we seek to remove ?
The current situation should clearly illustrate just how BAD things can get.. There are many people ( yourself included ) who would likely
be a truly excellent Senator or Representative.. in this country, we have no lack of good, competent people. The problem is that our
Country has a cancer and that cancer is centered on the kings and queens in the Senate and House who think that they are above the
law, that they are immune to the wishes of the Nation and that they can do as they please as long as they bring enough pork back to
their voting base to win re-election. And you know what ? They are RIGHT. The only way to remove the cancer, which if left intact, will
certainly destroy our Country, is to remove all of it. This means that term limits must be a Constitutional Amendment and forced upon
all Senators and House members. If that means that I loose a “good” Senator, in order to get rid of a truly dangerous “bad” one; then
I am happy to make that exchange. TERM LIMITS NOW !!!!!
The definition of “Good” politicians and “Bad” politicians depend greatly upon the perspective of those making
the judgment. I assume that the good folks in San Francisco think that Pa-lousy is a “good” politician. If there
are not Constitutionally mandated term limits, then, eventually, we will get back to business as usual which is
a bunch of kings and queens feeling immune to the sentiments of the Nation and free to do anything that they
wish. TERM LIMITS NOW !!!!!
That’s because it was not a Constitutional Amendment.. it was just a bill passed by Congress. With a Constitutional
Amendment, it can only be changed by 2/3’s of the States in an election.. We must force a Constitutional Amendment
limiting the terms of the House and Senate. TERM LIMITS NOW !!!!
Amen !! The strangest thing is why term limits were not a part of our founding documents.. personally, I think
that the founding fathers could simply not envisage ANYONE wanting to be away from their farms, businesses
and families for any longer than necessary. Being that we were a primarily Agrarian society at our founding and
travel was difficult, time consuming and dangerous; it was a great sacrifice for someone to give up 2 or 6 years
of their life to serve in the Government.. my, how times have changed. TERM LIMITS NOW !!!!!
Personally, that would be my preference. Recall all of those SOB’s. But, unfortunately, I don’t think that would
be as realistic as either of us would like.. remember, someone, somewhere keeps sending these Bozos back
to the Senate and the House.. term, after term, after term. Just look at Goddess Nancy’s home district.. I believe
it is San Francisco ? No, the only way to insure that one District or even State can’t virtually hold the whole Nation
hostage is Term Limits.. nationally imposed with a Constitutional Amendment. The reasons I suggest letting anyone
who has exceeded the 3 terms for the House and 2 for the Senate serve out their remaining term is twofold.. one,
they were legally elected to that term and two, we would be more likely to garner at least some support from sitting
members if they knew they were not going to be immediately unemployed by their vote. TERM LIMITS NOW !!!!
The only way to recover our Country is to impose TERM LIMITS on all of Congress. No more than 3 terms for the House and 2 terms for the Senate. Anyone currently serving who exceeds those term counts may finish their curent elected term.. then GO GET A REAL JOB !!. How else can we counter small Districts repeatedly sending Palosi, Frank, etc. back term after term after term ? Demand Term Limits !! If your Rep. does not agree, vote against them at the next election, whether D, R or I. They are all the same .. little kings and queens of America. TERM LIMITS NOW !!!
