The UK is one country.
If the origins of overseas students in the UK are broken down by nationality one country dominates, China with circa 120k.
The rest are much lower and 13k compares to a normal cohort that go overseas to study. But the trend is steeply upwards.

However Germany has increased its foreign students by 6%, the UK by 0.3%.
German unis don't care about league tables. They are rather traditional with brutal marking. The engineering and science is of the highest quality, though very traditional.

Indeed foreign students are here despite attempted destruction of the industry by the Tories,the party of the degreeless atm.

But the your right wing weakness exposes your folly with British students since there is more to HE than the top 20 especially in the applied sector. The numbers going to study in the EU is on an upward trend, especially in engineering and science.

I know you are down with the kids and have invented a time machine to transport the world back to 1955 so I am surprised you don't know.

Do you seriously think, in the anti foreign student fiesta of the last ten years, others haven't been taking advantage of UK madness.

Germany is hugely popular with Chinese, Korean, European and other students. My son has just returned from studying in Munich. It is a massive science and tech centre just type in foreign students, Low fees. like the Netherlands, means UK students are increasing in number, though someway behind other European countries.

There are plenty of youngsters with no GCSEs just waiting. I suggest a retraining programme for unemployed young bar workers to become dentists, doctors et al.

You have obviously never waited in a queue on the EU's eastern border.
The world has changed since the 60s. I was 13 in 73,and the EU FOM has been wonderful.

I suspect other people have wasted their breath on you. It's a hallmark of stupidity to never change an opinion.
